Well if you are trying to FTP via name you must setup the AS400 to use your
DNS server.

The command is CHGTCPDMN.  Put in the IP address of the DNS servers your
network has access to.

I can use my XP laptop connected to network to get to this FTP site no
problem. I try with AS400 FTP command and it does not.
