As others have noted, your lack of degree will not hold you back now, but it could in the future. If you're worried about expense or time, look for ways to get support and/or shorten your path to a degree. I get the impression you are working now. Does your employer offer an education reimbursement? Are there universities in your area that will give your credit for your work experience toward a degree? Do you have any existing college credit you can transfer? etc.
