make sure all the passwords for PC, Network logon and AS/400 are all the
same. If win98 system, delete the .pwl file and re-boot. This error
happens all the time at our shop if all the passwords are not the same.

Cause . . . . . : User profile CCCCCC exceeded the maximum number of
incorrect
sign-on attempts when connecting to the AS/400 using AS/400 Support for
Windows Network Neighborhood (AS/400 NetServer). This user profile has
been
disabled for AS/400 NetServer access. The latest failure was received
from
workstation .
Recovery . . . : The user profile will be enabled when one of the
following
occurs.
- The AS/400 NetServer support is restarted.
- The user profile is changed. User profiles can be changed using the
Change User Profile (CHGUSRPRF) command, the Change Profile (CHGPRF)
command, or the Change Password (CHGPWD) command.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : A user accessing the AS/400
system
using the AS/400 NetServer support exceeded the maximum number of
incorrect
sign-on attempts specified in the QMAXSIGN system value.
