Well, I THOUGHT I could figure this out. My problem now is the right margin is preventing 3 characters from printing. As with the left, it needs to be reduced from a 1/2 inch to 1/16 of an inch. I have adjusted the NOPRTBDR to the correct values but it will not change the right margin. In order for the left margin NOPRTBDR to work, I had to adjust the INITPRT value to :INITPRT DATA ='1B451B266C31323055'X. as instructed in the link below. The original DATA value was '1B45'X. I hate to give up on this when I'm so close. Anyone know if I need to make another adjustment on the INITPRT for the right margin setting to work? -----Original Message----- From: Smith, Dave Sent: Tuesday, June 25, 2002 9:58 AM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: Printer Margins Bill and Bryan: Thank you!!! This helped immensely. I was able to set my margins and everything is printing where it should. Its still truncating the last three characters on the right border but I sure with the info you have supplied, I will figure it out. Thanks again! >You should be able to adjust the margin by creating a workstation >customization object for the outq. Use the RTVWSCST (retrieve workstation >customization) command to get the source for your printer type. Edit the >source to modify the values for the NOPRTBDR sections for top and left.
