Ah, yes, thanks Carl.

Hmmm, interesting.  I just MOVed the file from QOpenSys to another file
system, /DBale, that I just created.  Then I was able to copy the file in
Windoze Exploder to my C: drive.  What gives?  Using WRKLNK, /DBale shows
having a code page of 437, while /QOpenSys shows a code page of 37.
Everything else is the same.  Could code page 37 be the problem?

I've used FTP quite a bit to transfer files both ways between AS400's
QSYS.LIB & pc.  How does one FTP from a different file system?
