You need to have the AFP drivers installed from Client Access. Then add a printer in your Printers dialog. Use the AFP driver that matches the DPI of your eventual output (IBM AFP 240, IBM AFP 300, etc.). Have the new printer definition use the FILE: port. Then "print" to this "printer" from Word. Select the output type - overlay, page segment, etc. Then transfer the resulting file up to the 400 and continuw as you've already done.
