Obviously, I did not explain this one well enough.

Data-Mirror goes into a partnering deal with EMC.  EMC makes disks that are
competitive with IBM.

IBM-Mexico goes into a deal to be a BP on that deal to Data-Mirror.

Make sense?

First of all, I can't believe that IBM would allow Data Mirror to do such
a
suicidal thing, but then the doofs at IBM Mexico sign on as a business
partner!

No wonder that we have given up on IBM when it comes to marketing.
