This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] You could go through the job stack and send them all. After all, on a traditional 5250 screen I could have numerous field highlighted and a stack of messages at the bottom with the plus sign at the end of all but the last message. On that other example you could have a service program to reformat the message. The problem with constraint messages is that you may have violated numerous rules and then which message do you pick? Like a 7030 error on an RPG compile will result in a cascade of other error messages that were caused by the 7030 I don't think Roch has given us a very easy way to retreive the error condition and present that to the user. John Carr -------------------- Good morning, gentlemen. May I ask you which text do you use for customer who enter record that violates constraints ? Are you able to send them meaningful messages ?
