Guys,

I have two AS/400s, one production & one development, which are
configured identically for SMTP and POP mail. Obviously, the system
names are different.

If I send an email to my address on the development machine, it arrives
and sits in /QTCPTMM/SMTPBOX until I run my POP3 utility and retrieve
it.

However if I send an email to my address on the production machine, it
arrives in /QTCPTMM/SMTPBOX and the SMTP server QTSMTPBRSR goes berserk,
using up over 30 percent of the system. I have to use the cleanup
procedure to cure this.

Has anyone else had this problem?
