Hi Phillip:
Seems like you know a lot about this. Hopefully you saw my previous
post today about if a 6502 RAID card will work in my current model 400.
Perhaps you can help. I am in the process now of reloading the system.
I have removed the old 4 drives (2 6606 and 2 6607). I have installed 2
new 6607s and am reloading the LIC now. I will eventually put the old
6607s back in the machine later today IF my restore goes well, however,
I was a little chicken so I decided to hold the original 4 drives
together, just in case this does not work. It will be very easy for me
to just put my 4 drives back in and have the box up and running.
Thanks for your help. BTW, you answered a question I had posted about
reviving a "clicking" 6607 in a different box. I am sad to say that it
did not work. I will be reloading that box soon too. It is not a
production box, so it is no big deal.
I like the way you Germanized my Italian name. :)
Cjg
