Hello Ted, (Copied from my earlier reply to your direct e-mail) The code I wrote does work for normal message queues. I can't recall the problem the original recipient had with it but I think it was environmental. You can test the code by running it from one interactive session and send a message to QSYSOPR from another session and see if the message appears at the bottom of the first session's display. Note that it is example code and if you really care about certain messages occurring you should do something other than resend as a status message -- paging someone or sending a break message to someone would be better -- status messages disappear in batch. QHST is a special message queue and the system will not allow you to display, or receive a message from QHST. What messages were you interested in monitoring?
