Thanks for your input. We ran object conversion (STROBJCVN) on all data libraries after the upgrade, before we turned over the system to users and batch jobs. Jim, We experienced the same thing the first week after oour upgrade to V5r1. It seems that the oobjects especially the DB files are getting converted to the new OS and DB2 formats. As you touch each object the conversion is done and once converted performance returns to normal. This Lasted the full first week for us until we had touched all of our most commonly used objects, and continued sporadically until some of the lesser used objects were used.
