What do you mean by a firewall? There was a firewall product that relied on the presence of an IPCS card, but this was withdrawn and no longer available. Is your iSeries directly connected to the Internet, or is there another machine (perhaps a gateway) between it and the internet? There are products like firewalls, that use the OS/400 exit points to provide secure access to the system. These products protect the iSeries in both the internet and intranet environments. Companies manufacturing these exit point products are: Castlehill Computer Services Ltd. - www.ccs400.com - SECURE/NET PowerTech Inc - www.powertechgroup.com - PowerLock Pentasafe - www.pentasafe.com Regarding SECURE/NET - Please be aware that the SECURE/NET product advertised on the Palace Guard Software web site is NOT the SECURE/NET product manufactured by Castlehill Hill Computer Services Ltd. You may want to look at what these products have to offer.
