All are As400s at V4R5. We were trying DDM over SNA, but we have had
problems with that. It happened one too many times that I decided screw it I
am putting the file on this system. Unless we are doing something wrong, we
can't use TCP, because the users that runs the job doesn't have authority to
the other systems so we can't do that.

Mike,

DDM has always worked for me. Are the three systems all iSeries or AS400?
Are they at different releases? Are you doing DDM over SNA or TCP/IP? DDM
over tcp/ip works quite well now, so I'd probably go that route.

Subject: Syncing a file across 3 systems

We have a file (with 2 logicals) that is the same on three different
systems, and so we have to maintain three separate files. How can we
synchronize this file across 3 systems? And we want it to be reliable but
would highly prefer to not spend money on a program. DDM doesn't seem to be
reliable across all the systems. Could RSF be used somehow?
