While it's certainly true that there is no "technical" reason why Dan can't just move/rename the programs while they're in use, there may be a "business" reason why he wants to know if they're in use. Maybe he doesn't want half the people using the replaced (archived) program (that would be in QRPLOBJ) and the other half using the new program that has just been implemented. Bill
