Once you're in the macro editor, go to help, then click on index and go to Find, not Index. Once you've built the find crud, put apl in the search box. You should see 'macro statements' in the list. That's where this thing is defined. Syntax is 'APL xx' where xx is the hex-value of the character you want to get. 'apl f0' would be a zero (0). You can actually put in the display attributes, as well. 'apl 20' means normal display (green). 'apl 28' is red, I think.
