This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] If a user does not have direct authority to ADDPFM a particular file, is it possible to call a program which will adopt the object management authority of the file's owner, thereby allowing the ADDPFM ? The profile owning the objects must not have *ALLOBJ or *SECADM special authorities attached, and should be disabled. I'm at V5R1 testing with a file named FILE, owned by profile DUMMY, which is disabled and has no special authorities. I created a CLP owned by DUMMY with user profile *OWNER, adopt *YES. While data level authority is successfully adopted, object level authority is withheld. Thanks - Dave K.
