...Just while I was writing up a reply to you guys and "double-double" checking what I was saying was accurate, things have changed, almost fixed !! Let me try and explain, cause this is very strange !! I'll include some examples from my splf's cause I'm sure you guys will recon I was just going mad. Firstly, thanks Rob, Pete and Andy for the replies, when I checked it I didn't get the message and it wasn't reporting anything with WRKOBJOWN either. I've known of this for at least 3 weeks now however I had to wait untill this w/e for the time for the RCLSTG. Thismorning QDFTOWN reported owning 3 objects (while stating storage used was 4.2gb) which I immediatly changed ownership of to the correct group for two of them and deleted the other one leaving QDFTOWN reporting that it didn't own any objects as can be seen from the below print(1.) also you may see the 3 objects from(2.) the system Disk Space report which was produced yesterday, and (3.) a dspusrprf of qdftown earlier today. 1.)............................................#### 5769SS1 V4R5M0 000526 SLOUGH1 25/03/02 10:57:46 User Profile . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : QDFTOWN Total objects . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 0 Authority Object Library Type Holder (The user does not own any objects.) 2.)............................................#### Information Owner/ % of Size in Last Last Object Library Type Owned 1000 bytes Change Use Description QDFTOWN 340.0 Default Owner for System Objects QUPF NGCLIB *FILE 78.29 266.2 20/03/02 21/03/02 MASTERC SYSVER *PGM 20.47 69.6 14/03/02 14/03/02 DAINPCTL QRCL *DTAARA 1.21 4.1 22/03/02 3.(........................................#### User Profile . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : QDFTOWN Text . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Default Owner for System Objects Display sign-on information . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL Limit device sessions . . . . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL Keyboard buffering . . . . . . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL Maximum storage allowed . . . . . . . . . : *NOMAX Storage used . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 4210664 OK. so agreed QDFTOWN now doesn't own anything I do a wrkusrprf then take option 12 to display objects so I can copy\paste into the mail I'm putting togeather to send back to you guys when suddenly an object appears !! so just to tidy things up and keep things clear I check this object, (dspobjd) and see its only 380kb and so change it's ownership back to its correct group. now I set back about gathering the info for you guys when SHOCK, dspusrprf is reporting the following:(note the storage used field) Display User Profile - Basic User profile . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : QDFTOWN Current library . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *CRTDFT Initial program . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *NONE Library . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Initial menu . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : MAIN Library . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *LIBL Limit capabilities . . . . . . . . . . . . : *NO Text . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : Default Ow Display sign-on information . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL Limit device sessions . . . . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL Keyboard buffering . . . . . . . . . . . . : *SYSVAL Maximum storage allowed . . . . . . . . . : *NOMAX Storage used . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 15992 ......however !!! WRKOBJOWN is still saying (The user does not own any objects.) So basicly, a small object appeared from somewhere, I changed its ownership and almost everything goes back to normal, I can't explain it !! As you can see from the example text from my reports its still not "0" as you would expect..... %ASP also dropped back down again after. I'd like to figure out why\what happened but I guess its just one of those things !! I got message CPI220D. You can do a DSPMSGD CPI220D for a definition of that. But basically any object within a directory does not appear here. My profile had 229 objects within directories. These items do appear when you do a WRKOBJOWN though. Might this be your issue?
