Once your OS/400 and OpsNav version/release levels are high enough, SQL can be generated for any physical file whether created initially with DDS, SQL or even IDDU (AFAIK). It does a fairly decent job of creating a source member that can be fed directly into RUNSQLSTM. This can be a handy way create source for files.
