Another thought for how to see what files are in use: Add a PEX *TRACE definition with OSEVT *DBIO. This will put records in file QAYPEMIUSR, with the various IO operations and the name, member, & format, of the files used during the PEX session. TRCJOB can give you some of this, but does miss some SQL activity (esp. interactive SQL, maybe dynamic SQL). Bracket your program call with STRPEX - ENDPEX.
