If the file is generated by query, I would think that would be externally
described, wouldn't it?

If you know the name of the file object, you should be able to search the
query objects for this.  There are tools (free, I think) that will help you
do this.

Yep, we think the software house has made a boo boo, but they are trying
to blame us, so we'd have to foot the bill for the repair.
