The AS/400 has a DISOSS and VM Bridge product that lets you use SNADS to
send spool files to a S/390. It's SNA based and has been around for a long
time. Might be a bit pricey.

Have you considered using an SNA APPC application? If the reports are
largely text you might find it faster and easier to write an APPC program on
the AS/400 that sends data to CICS. A simple CICS application could read the
data and write to a spooler.
