Can you put a program on the other box? Then I'd say, use RUNRMTCMD (or SBMRMTCMD) to fire it off. It should put the info into a data area. Then define a *DDM DTAARA on your local machine, and you can read the remote one from you local program. Remember: TMTOWTDI - There's more than one way to do it.
