RE: tape drive plug and unplug (was 504)

Don't know. This was on a 12-way Northstar, 3 LPARs. Only one device on the
external connection, which I assumed was SCSI.

Probably better to be safe than sorry. This was a lab situation, so we
expected to have problems.   <vbg>
