-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] That is a very intesting topic. Most often, if performance is the issue, you may be better off with another subsystem, but in most cases you can drastically improve response time by tuning your system. Have you looked at any performance data? Do you have a basic understanding of performance tuning for the AS/440? If not, I believe that you may find some help in the work management manual. It has been quite a while, but I believe that is where the performance tuning information has been buried. It will explain performance related system values and how to set them, analyzing performance data, and what changes you can make that will affect performance. Hope this helps. steven.donnellan@simonjersey.com wrote: This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Currently all our interactive jobs are in subsystem QINTER. The boss wants to seperate some jobs in to a seperate interactive subsystem. Is this wise?
