You might check the archives. Someone mentioned awhile ago that you could get a drda plugin for sql server, i believe it was on the SNA server install CD. I tried to do it, but I don't know SQL server at all and I couldn't find anyone who knew SQL server and understood the MS documentation on DRDA. This has come up before and I've never seen a solution we could use. We wound up having someone write a simple ASP on IE that connects to the SQL database. We use Brad Stones GETURI to post SQL commands to the website, (sorry about the formatting) : CHGVAR VAR(&URL) + VALUE('http://x.x.x.x/docudb/as400sqlexec.asp?sql=select+id+from+dpobjects+where+title+=+' *CAT &APOST *CAT &PRO *TCAT + &APOST *CAT '+and+field1+=+' *CAT &APOST *CAT &BLDR *CAT &APOST) GETURI URI(&URL) OUTPUT(*FILE) FILE(QTEMP/WEB) _________________ Art Tostaine, Jr. CCA, Inc.
