As a system administrator you can control who you deploy the QEZSNDMSG program to. This DSPLIB quirk can be accessed any number of ways on a default system configuration - including (and especially) by remote customers, vendors, etc. who I might provide a profile and password to. Those people would normally have a different risk profile than my employees. jte
