I think what Stephane is looking for is for CA to act like a browser, and
when
asked to open a file, run the pc .exe associated with a file type. Internet
Explorer
and Netscape do that now, and if they are used to access the as400, in cgi I
can
specify a url on the IFS of the as400, they upon seeing it is a .pdf file,
will use
Adobe Reader to open the file. Unfortunately, CA "green screen" is a telnet
app. Maybe there is an api in CA for this function?
