Hello all, First if this request is not sent to the right forum, let me know. We have a Iseries model 270-2432 (1070 cpw) with 4Meg of main storage and plenty of disk. It runs V5R1. We are using Websphere and commerce suite for our Ebusiness application.(http://ebusiness.cascades.com) It is still in beta so it is barely used. We are seeing 2 major performance problem. 1. When we do a drill down search, the last level (3rd) can take several minutes to load. I was told by the consultant company that handle our web development that this is caused by the "get product" class of commerce suite that does not perfom well when the number of item in the catalog is high (we have about 30,000) 2. When we load large amount of data, like reloading a catalaog, the process brings the machine to it's knees for several hours (cpu at 99.9%). I was told that this was due to the "Id resolver" process. Can any one relates to that problem? Does this make sense? Ay tough or ideas will be apreciated thanks Denis Robitaille Directeur services techniques Cascades Inc 819 363 5187 fax 819 363 5177
