Pop the door open in the middle of the rack the cpu is in. If I remember correctly it's on the right side. While the battery may be a standard battery, it does have a circuit card attached the among other things is giving you your change me message. If that card is not reset somehow then the messages won't go away. -----Original Message----- From: Shea, David [mailto:DShea@arctools.com] Sent: Monday, March 04, 2002 5:51 AM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: Replacing battery on E45 My E45 is complaining that 'the battery has been installed for longer than recommended'. Can anyone point me in the direction of this battery? Where is it located, and where can I buy a new one? I assume it's in the main card cage somplace. Is it a standard size UPS type battery, or is it some hideous proprietary beast? Thanks. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
