The rules "were" after V4R1, OS/400 was legally part of the machine it
was installed on. LPP's were NOT.... I understand that the rules on
LPP's has "changed" again(so I don't know).....

If I were to buy a big whopper machine, I would get me a smaller and
more affordable development machine for my compilers....

I couldn't run a "production" machine using Ebay parts.... sorry, I
just don't have the guts for that....


I still believe the 170 is a much better investment for the money....
