Kirk, Thanks for the input. I'm thinking that I will try several plans for migration. The first will be the most blood letting: move the source, data files and recompile and run. Anything missing will become self evident! I like it just because it's like running off a cliff just to see if you have a working parachute. There are safer methods but they aren't nearly as exciting. :) They have a working machine and I can take a weekend to do this knowing that this will fail. (I live in the Pacific Northwest and this time of the year one starts to feel like Jack in "The Shining". (All work and no play...) I know for a fact that they have code without source, I'll go to plan "B", follow your advice, and earn my keep.
