This is a wonderful feature that IBM added in V5R1. If you go to OS/400, and sign on as QSECOFR (not a member of the group or just someone with *ALLOBJ authority), you can run the command that changes the QSECOFR DST password back to the default. CHGDSTPWD *DEFAULT. Quite honestly, I never used this command before V5R1, but now-a-days I have to use it at least once a week. Look how much more secure they made our system! When IPLing and selecting DST, I'm again faced with a signon screen and the message "user profile disabled". What gives? _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
