Reposted in the hope that some one that knows something about this missed it the first time! Sorry to bomb the list . . . Listers - I have a process that has worked on V4R5 to create a restoreable SAVLIB CD. The process is as follows: - Turn on CD mastering state for a tape using QLPCDRST STATE(1) - SAVLIB to tape - Turn off CD mastering state using QLPCDRST STATE(0) - Create PF RCDLEN(28672) - CPYFRMTAP to the PF - FTP PF to a PC in BINARY mode - Drag PC file to CD burner drive As I stated earlier, this process worked under V4R5. Now, under V5R1, I enter the command RSTLIB SPCONTROL OPT01 and I get a joblog with the message "File not selected. File label or file name mismatch for file /SPCONTROL. (Note the "/" before SPCONTROL.). SPCONTROL is the library that I am trying to restore from the CD. Also, the CD volume name is SPCONTROL and it was created using Roxio EZ CD Creator 5.0 My first thought was that the RCDLEN of the PF may be different under V5R1 but I don't know how I would find out that information. Anyone out there with any experience creating restorable CDs on V5R1? Thanks, Steve
