When I was in elementary school they had Atari 800 computers (and only
some schools had them - we had to travel to use them).  When I entered
middle school I didn't ever see a computer.  In high school they had PCs
running DOS.  I didn't see a Mac until I entered the university.  Of
course the math department had SGI Indigo2s and the comp sci department
had Sun Sparc 5s and 10s.  After seeing those the Macs and PCs just seemed
worthless.

Hmm... according to the theory of "Get 'em while they're young" I should
be using an Atari.  Funny, my Atari 2600 is still in the closet.  It works
just fine.
