If you only need the files as text output, that is rather simple to do -
in the c/l or rpg capture your job number and all that fun stuff, do a
cpysplf to a database file that has a record format large enough to hold
all the data.
>From there the c/l could run a FTP to the NT server as a text file
where the OnBase system can take over to "see" the file and process it -
at that point I do not know what you would need to do as I have not used
that package.

We do a similar thing here with a fiche software, but it has to be manually
imported as they do not support an auto/batch import.

The AS/400 side will be easy.

Subject: Need suggestions for automating spool files to imaging input
file

We will be implementing the OnBase COLD imaging module in a few months. We
would like to automate the transfer of certain AS/400 spool files to input
into the OnBase system (located on a separate NT server) as an ASCII text
file. We'd prefer not to have any user intervention for this process.
All suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
