Try:

a) Copy your physical file(s) from your *LIVE environment to your *TEST.

b) Use the CRTDUPOBJ command for each related logical file you want to copy.
This will create the logical file on your test lib but it will be based on your
new physical file on your test lib.

Hi All,

What is the best way to copy logical files from one library to another, and
forcing them to be based on a different physical file?

I want to clone our live environment, but the logicals keep pointing back to
the live pf...

I know I have done this before, but I cannot remember how :(
