Mike, I have no wish to start a discussion that is less on-topic that this one but... I am in agreement with you that this is not the correct forum to blatantly plug ad infinitum one's products, however this is an opportunity for people to exchange ideas and solutions. Thus if a vendor has a solution that fits the requirements, or could possibly fit the requirement then I feel a few lines are allowable. I do tend to try and contact the person off-line, but I do not subscribe to the concept of continual e-mailings. Similarly when I do post a note I will be up front and state that I am from Original Software - in some ways by establishing my credentials I am stating I know what I am talking about - but I would not stoop so low and try and pretend that I work in a large Insurance Company, because I would loose any sense of credibility and thus by association so would the products.
