On an AS/36 there IS something special, and you need to have a backup of the Licensed Internal Code and the underlying OS/400. ...Neil Kathleen On the S/36, there is nothing special about the operating system. Just SAVELIBR #LIBRARY and you have saved the Operating System. You will also notice libraries like #RPGLIB, etc. These are other IBM supplied libraries for RPG, etc. They each need to be backed up individually. I assume you use POP. Just use the LIBR command to get a list of all the libraries you want to backup. ==== How do I backup the operating system on an AS/36? The only manual that I have available talks about SAVELIBR and SAVE and SAVEFLDR but nothing specifically about saving the system.
