And you will be able to run vbscript, but not access any actual activex dlls.

(I'm pretty sure of that, someone with experience might correct me.) Chilisoft 
will support dlls in windows, but not on non-Intel CPUs (I don't know if it 
doesunder Linux on a PC)

          I would look at http://www.chilisoft.com/ and there is another one
  simular that should work as well, you may need to move to the Apache engine
  from the HTTP server to really make it work.
