I would like to create two relational database directory entries for the
*LOCAL system. Since I can ping the local system, shouldn't I be able to
create a RDB directory entry using the local IP in addition to the *LOCAL?

But my immediate problem is that I can't make a new RDB directory entry that
I can CONNECT to with SQL. There must be something I don't know about how
this works...

I added a RDB directory entry. I try to CONNECT to it in SQL, and I get a
"Relational database VSI19 not found" What gives? Does anyone know?

Thanks for your help,
