Dave, I'm not sure I would count much on a RCLSTG. One obscure reference (in a SAP AS/400 Redbook) suggests running the STRDSKRGZ command when this message is received. This command should accumulate unused disk space into larger chunks so that disk can be allocated more efficiently. If an IPL is not an option, perhaps running the command would be helpful, but I would schedule an IPL at your earliest convenience.
