Careful here as there are two flavors of ethernet terminals: Character Based Terminals (CBT) and Windows Based Terminals (WBT). CBT's have built in TN5250 software that typically does display, printer, and email. Plug them in, give them an IP (or use DHCP), put in the target AS400 IP and, voila, you have a 5250 session. Simple. WBT are typically based on Windows CE and typically use Citrix running on an NT server somewhere. These are much more complex and have associated Windows freezup/reboot issues as they offer more possibilities.
