Pat, Unless I'm misinterpreting your question, you would establish a dial-up connection to your AS/400 using Microsoft dial-up networking. Client Access (or whatever emulation product is used) would not be involved in the TCP/IP configuration. Then you would layer Client Access on top of that connection. You would need to have either a SLIP or PPP line description defined on the AS/400 for your communications line. I think that you're out of luck at V3R2 for that configuration, but I would verify. Once the connection is established, any TN5250 client will do (see recent discussions on Mochasoft), so it doesn't have to be Client Access.
