Booth, Joe put you on the right track, but I would like to expand a little as to the way we have locatable windows. First we return the cursor location when someone wants a popup and use that as parameters to the window program itself. Within the window program, unfortunately we have the window number of rows and columns hardcoded, and check the incoming parameters against the window size to make sure that it is within the 24x80 viewable area and adjust accordingly. This way, if a change is made in pgmA display location the popup will automagically relocate itself. hth > -------Original Message------- > > From: midrange-l@midrange.com > Date: Saturday, January 19, 2002 01:14:22 PM > To: midrange-l@midrange.com > Subject: RE: window subfile > > > From: Booth Martin > > > > The problem is this: I can't figure out how to have the window display > > under different locations on the screen, depending upon which program is > > displaying the blank line.
