Dare, The hardware and software on your configuration seems to be coming in at 78% of IBM list pricing. I don't think you can do much better on new equipment through regular retail channels, although some of IBM's special developer programs might do better. In terms of the configuration, it doesn't look bad for a light-duty development box. You'll need to decide whether 17.5 GB is enough storage for you. If it were mine, I would probably want to include a single license of Client Access and would consider going with the three-year prepaid software subscription. Personally, I would rather pay it up front and not worry about it later. I would also echo the previous post questioning why you would want both Query/400 and the SQL Tools.
