Re: Symbol 5250 software (Was: Separate subsystem - Devices not being allocated to it.)

The emulation software we are using is ROI Emulation Client, aka TNTERM
aka TNT46K.

It is a very simple matter to give the 5250 session a name when configuring
the connection.  I hit F2 (<Func>2) to go to the second screen and type in
the desired name.  Leaving it blank will use the QPVADExxxx name.

I've not seen Telxon so don't know how to configure that one.

Our Scanners seem to have the same screen size, incidently.

We are using Symbol PTC-960SL's.  How do you tell them to use a particular
device name?  We think the name of the client is:  TELXON AIRVU

ps:  Our screen size is configurable 21 col x 16 rows
