From: "Dare" <oludare@ix.netcom.com> >How do you CHEAT Steve? > Dare, I am just trying to be helpful to you. You should not suggest that I do cheat. IBM has deliberately priced the software for their old systems at a prohibitive level. So a pgmr who wants a low cost training system of their own cannot turn to IBM for what they need. The end result: The pgmr does not acquire a training system and pgmrs on our system have less knowledge than they would otherwise. By a pgmr getting their hands on a v5r1 install cd and installing on one of these 150's ( and I dont know if this is possible ) they are actually, IMO, helping ibm and our platform. Hope this helps, Steve Richter > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "srichter " <srichter@mail.autocoder.com> >To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> >Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 3:14 PM >Subject: Re: ebay model 150 auction > > >> Dare, >> >> Going the legit route will cost thousands of $$$.
