The fact that what I'm trying to do doesn't work. :-)

Seriously...I figured this out right afer I posted it.

&H20 = decimal 32
&H10 = Decimal 16
&H11 = Decimal 17
&H47 = Decimal 71

etc... simple hexadecimal math...
