Yes and No.  Your job will not bomb, same as with *NOMAX.  But the advantage
is you get the message recorded and now know that there is a file growing
beyond expected size.  We monitor for such messages so the DBA can analyze
the file usage and take appropriate action.

Isn't this almost the same as *NOMAX? If your file hits the limit then it
sends a message which is auto-replied to.
